Spring Break dance festival is coming up!

Spring Break is a small-scale contemporary dance festival organized by Kinetic Orchestra and centered around movement. In 2026, the Finnish premiere of Kinetic Orchestra’s work Bolero will be presented at Cirko’s Solmu Hall, alongside performances by dance students from the University of the Arts Helsinki. In addition, Kinetic Orchestra will host a workshop for dance and circus professionals and students, offering an opportunity to dive into the world of Bolero.

Join us for the two-week long intensive workshop experience FLIP Helsinki 2026 that is all about movement!

In 2026, FLIP Helsinki offers new classes but focuses still on partnering and floorwork! Our teachers are Jarkko Mandelin & Luca Bologna (partnering), Oskari Turpeinen (Kinetic Orchestra repertoire), Akira Yoshida (floorwork), Mirva Mäkinen (contact improvisation) and Milla Koistinen (contemporary dance). Intensive workshops are suited for professionals and students in the fields of dance, circus, and performing arts.

Dear participants,
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the memorable moments shared during our Sunday workshops! However, we wish to inform you that, after Spring 2026, the Sunday workshops will come to an end.

Moving forward, we will focus on offering shorter course series that provide more in-depth and flexible learning experiences. We hope these new courses will better meet your needs and offer enriching opportunities for personal growth.

You can attend the spring classes (11.1. - 24.5.) using an existing 10-class pass, or purchase a single drop-in class (€19) on site by card.
